Vice President Biden defends using rape scare tactic to pass jobs bill

Jason Mattera, the editor of the Human Events, confronted Vice President Joe Biden about these comments.  Mr. Mattera asked the vice president if he regretted using a "rape reference to describe Republican opposition" to the jobs bill. (As we previously explained, Biden pulled some numbers out of his ass, and from the toilet tissue thin evidence he cited, he said that if the GOP doesn't pass the jobs bill, rape and murder will rise in Flint Michigan.)

That, of course, is nothing short of monstrously irresponsible politicking -- fear-mongering of the worst kind. But Joe seems proud of it, and he defended himself in a beligerrent way:

"Let's get it straight, guy, don't screw around with me," Biden told Mattera. "Listen to me. I said rape was up three times in Flint, they're the numbers. Go look at the numbers. Murder's up, rape is up, burglaries are up. That's exactly what I said."

When Mattera asked if it was appropriate for a person in Biden's position to make warnings like that to advance a bill, Biden ended the interview.

I can't wait until Marco Rubio or Chris Christie debates this Grade "A" jackass prior to the election next year.
